striker Alassana Jatta has scored his first goal for Paide Linnameeskond in
their 2-0 win over the defending Nomme Kalju in the Estonian league on
Jatta’s 38th minute score was his first goal in 2019 games, an achievement that attracted praise from manager Vjatseslav Zahovaiko.
The 20-year-old on loan from Gambian side Real De Banjul struck a ferocious left-footed shot past Kalju keeper Pavel Londak to hand the visitors the lead in the 38th minute before the second goal in the 56th minute, to shocked the Estonian giants on the opening day of the season.
Jatta is in Paide Linnameeskond together with his teammates Muhammed Sanneh whom both joined Paide during summer after their successful trails.
Paide Linnameeskond will next play Sunday against FC Flora at home, as they will be looking to continue with their fine and impressive form.
