Premier league side Akwa United Football Club will arrive in Banjul on Monday
ahead of their crunch 2018 CAF Confederations Cup second leg away tie to FF cup
champions Hawks this week.
The Nigerian side lost 2-1 to Hawks in the first leg of the continent’s second tier football club competition and will be hoping to overturn the 2-1 deficit in the second leg in Banjul to progress to the next round.
The Oil giants are currently on physical and mental preparation for the second leg following their slender first leg defeat to Hawks last week.
Hawks need a draw to progress to the second round following their hard-fought 2-1 away win over Nigerian side in the first leg in Nigeria last week.
