TV production has recently collaborated with The University of The Gambia
School of Journalism and Digital Media for training some of their students.
The training is designed to capacitize students on practical knowledge in the field of journalism and its related activities.
Afrinity TV production chief executive officer Winfred U Adams highlighted that the UTG students will undergo three months training at the institution, adding that they will engage them in different field of specialize.
He expresses delight for receiving three UTG students to the institution, saying that is a privilege for seeing his work is being recommended. “I see myself as a mentor to many youth and my institution has trained so many young people which must of them are now qualified and am very proud to see their success,” he said.
ShelkhTijan Njie, a first year student at the UTG School of journalism and digital media who is undergoing attachment at Afrinity TV production said, “I have passion for journalism and that passion was a long time issue in me since I was very young,” He pointed.
He said they choose Afrinity TV production as a starting point because they believe that is one of the best media houses with conducive environment for them and secondly is a place where many young people gone through to became successful.
