Africell’s Christmas giveaway goes to town

During Christmas as in every other Christmas, Africell’s benevolence and goodwill comes to the forefront of the GSM company’s duties in putting a smile in the most gratifying manner to the thousands of vulnerable school children.

The children of St. John’s School For The Deaf had a time of their lives when Africell sprang up the biggest Christmas party for the school.

Teachers and the entire staff population were treated with sumptuous lunch pack, gift items, school materials and Christmas goodies to the delight of the school principal and on-looking parents.

The children were entertained with Christmas chorals accompanied with dancing

This year’s theme was “Let’s share what we have and look forward to sharing even more”.

  In his welcoming remarks, the school principal, Mr. Daniel J. Mendy, thanked Africell as the students gracefully enjoyed every moment of this party.

During Christmas there is nothing more gratifying for Africell than sharing and caring.

Christmas for us at Africell is a moment of reflection and giving thanks.

Africell’s caring and sharing approach has seen the GSM operator, over the years host a number of Christmas party’s for students of St. John’s School For The Deaf, GOVI, Methodist Academy and SOS children village, Bakoteh.

Speaking to the students, Mr. Musa Sise remarked: “It is that time of the year when goodwill, patience, and devotion, takes center stage at Africell and our efforts are geared towards sharing as a responsibility with the great Gambian public”.

“We reflect and think of the less fortunate ones and deliver in a period we all cherish most”.

“It is Africell’s desire and wishes to cater for all those in need during this festive period as a manifestation and care towards our esteem customers”.

Mr. Musa Sise, thanked the students and their teachers on behalf of Chief Executive Officer, Alh.  Alieu Badara Mbye and his staff and wish them the very best of during this festive period.
