Africell Launches ALJAZEERA Network Service

In their quest to bring commutation to the fingertip of their customers, Africell on Wednesday unveiled a new service known as "Aljazeera mobile" at a press briefing held at the Kairaba Beach Hotel.

Speaking on the occasion, Papa Leigh, Africell's Sales and Marketing Manager, said that they are proud to partner with one of the world biggest international network in the field of information dissemination.

"Making the GSM service affordable to all has always been the company's primary target therefore, Africell has proudly provide for you a service that will keep you connected to the world," he said. According to him, all Africell subscribers will enjoy breaking news updates on their mobile phones on issues ranging from political news to sports among others all from the Aljazeera network. He stressed that the secret behind the company's success is practical services. He said using the service is simple. "Just open a new message, type SUB and send it via SMS to 7272 and you will receive all kinds of updates for just one Dalasi per day," he said.
