African Medical Students Association tourney begins in Sudan

The 2019 African Medical Students Association (AMSA) football tournament has kicked-off in Sudan, according to news reaching The Point sports desk.

Fourteen countries are competing in this year’s championship title organised by the International University of Africa (IUA).

Somalia will entertain Tanzania at the IUA Mini Stadium in Markaz today at 4:15pm while Nigeria will take on Yemen tomorrow at the same venue at 4:15 pm. Cote d’voire will square-off with Comoros on Sunday while Ghana will tussle with Malawi on Monday.

On Tuesday 6 August, Mali will wrestle with Kenya while The Gambia will host Chad on Wednesday 7 August at the same venue.
