Action Resume in Gunjur Knock-Out Quarter finals

After one-month break due to Baby Muhammed Yahya Jammeh's Super Nawettan, which Gunjur participated, and they were eliminated in semi finals stage by Banjul. Action will resume in the 2008 Gunjur knockout championship this Weekend.

On Saturday 17 January 2009 unbeaten Gamcel FC will clash with Gunjur Project FC in the first quarter final on Sunday18 January, untouchable Nas FC will battle its out with Super cup champions Late Pa Jobe FC in the second quarter final while Nyokoyor FC will meet Dunes United FC in the third quarter final on Sunday 25 January at Gunjur football field and all match kick start at 4.30PM.

In a similar development, the 2009 GunjurUpperBasicSchool inter house athletic championship is slated for 24th of January 2009-01-12 at the school ground.

The head of the school's sport department Mr. Edward Jersey explained that this year's inter-house will be different from the past ones. He posited that a lot of talent will be showcase by young athletes.
