Abuko Utd nails Future Bi in Women Division 1 league

Over the weekend, Abuko United defeated Future bi 2-0 in the week-six fixture of the ongoing Gambia Football Federation women division one league game played at the FiFA goal project at Old Yundum.

Abuko United opened the account through striker Fatou Dukureh, alias Duks in the 21st minute of the game from an astonishing header from Mam Drammeh’s brilliant cross to fire in the opener.

Fatou Dukureh doubled Abuko United’s advantage in the 23rd minute of the game after capitalizing on Mam Drammeh’s low cross to slot in the second goal, which eventually proved to be the winner for the Abuko-based Women football club.

Red Scorpion drew 1-1 with Immigration at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama while Interior managed a 2-2 draw with Armed Forces at the same venue.

In the second division, Brikama United thrashed Brewulleng 3-0 in the Brikama derby clash at the Box Bar Mini Stadium while City girls thumped Kinteh’s United 2-0 at the FIFA Goal Project in Yundum.
