Abuko Utd disgrace Future Bi in GFF 1st Women league

Abuko United on Tuesday 27 December 2016 demolished Future Bi 9-0 in their rescheduled fixtures of the 2016-2017 Gambia Football Federation Women division one league played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

Fatou Dukureh scored four goals in the 5th, 19th, 40th and 87th minutes of the game respectively before Sally Ceesay netted a hat-trick in the 10th, 41st and 52nd minutes of the game.

Mam Drammeh and Fatoumata Jobe were also in the score sheet after netting one goal each in the game to slap Abuko United a convincing win over Future Bi.

Speaking with Pointsport after the final whistle, Fatou Dukureh said she was very happy scoring four goals in the game and expressed hope and determination to continue the momentum.

For her part, Sally Ceesay, who bagged a hat-trick in the game, revealed that she was very glad for scoring a hat-trick in her career.

Fatoumata Jobe, who was also part of those targeted for Abuko United, said the goal was a big motivation for her, saying she would certainly continue to score more goals in the upcoming fixtures.
