Abuko Utd belts City Girls in women 1st league

Abuko United, over the weekend lashed City Girls 3-1 in week-ten fixtures of the 2018-2019 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Women first domestic league match played at the FIFA Goal project in Old Yundum.

Magnificent striker Maimuna Sarr alias (MS) fired a dual before Sally Ceesay netting the third to seal victory for the Abuko-based team.

City Girls reacted and pulled back one through Nenneh Jallow, which eventually proved to be a consolation goal for them.

Interior drew 0-0 with Immigration on Friday while league leaders Red Scorpions also drew 1-1 with Armed Forces on Sunday.

In the second division league, Berewulleng thrashed Raptin 3-1 on Saturday and Greater Tomorrow walloped Jam City 5-0 while Kinteh’s thumped Brikama United 3-1. Future Bi also defeated Jeshwang United 3-0 on Sunday.
