The case involving Tina Faal could not proceed yesterday before Magistrate Kebba Baldeh at the Banjul Magistrates’ Court.

When the case was called, police prosecutor Inspector Sarja Sanyang represented the IGP alongside Sub-Inspector Bojang and CPL Bojang.

Lawyer Combeh Gaye announced her representation for Tina Faal.

Prosecutor Sanyang then applied for an adjournment, because the prosecution witness went to execute a court order.

He said the witness is working at the Sheriff Division.

He asked the court to grant their application.

Defence counsel Gaye did not object to the application for adjournment.

Magistrate Baldeh subsequently granted the application, and adjourned the case until 7 December 2016, for continuation of evidence of the witness.
