Fast-rising dancehall artiste A2 D Fulani king has talked about his international music project and that once completed will undoubtedly put the country’s music on the world stage.

Born Ebrima Jallow but musically-A2 D Fulani, he launched his musical career in 2013 and went on to release his first debut single “All Over Me” in July 2014. A2 just did well in this latter single as throughout the single he delivers poignant lyrics over a sensational beat produced by Stylzz Records. However, this period marks an important milestone in his musical career and that even enabled him to attract more fans among youths in the country.

All Over Me is still a hit in the country, probably thanks to the engineered expertise by Stylzz Records. “I’m currently working on an international project which I will be having the likes of Stone Bwoy, Patoranking and some Jamaican stars. It will also be uploaded on my VEVO account and on YouTube to promote it on the international scene” he told Standard Lite in an exclusive on Tuesday.

2016 generally was a successful year for A2 as he scored a number of dancehall hits and also released and launched his debut mix tape titled Mixed Feeling, a 21 track-sound recorded at both Stylzz and Shyboy Records. Some of his popular songs include “Next to me, ‘Boom Boom pHa and his smash hit ‘Reyma Pak, which is still fans favorites, as it resonates well among fans in concert venues and joints. “Reyma Pak is actually blazing all over and this new song I just released titled “Pretty Whine” is on fire right now.”

Commenting on the country’s music, A2 added; “Gambian music should be far bigger than where we are to be honest with you. No single Gambian artiste can fill up the stadium, which is not right. There is lot that needs to be done” he added. He however called on fans to keep supporting good music, saying ears don’t lie and that he will do whatever to make his fans proud.

Suffice it to state that the twice WMA award-wining dancehall artiste and Linkage Award Nominee for Best African dancehall artiste, continues to step up the ladder in for what promise to be an ambitious musical mission.

Off his mega project, was another CD album titled ‘Empire’, which comprises 16 track-sounds, launched last year amid fanfare. Currently under Stylzz House Production, A2 is positive that with time and support his music could easily make it to world music scene someday.
