A total number of 328 students last Thursday graduated at Muslim Senior Secondary School (MSSS) after sitting to the 2018-19 West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examina-tions (WASSSCE).

Out of the total graduates, 311 were from the school’s English department, while 17 are from the Arabic section.

Principal Lamin Marong congratulated the graduating class for their successful completion of senior secondary school education, further reminding the graduating class that those of them who were serious with their studies will certainly gain university admission requirements. “And those who will not meet the requirements will have no one to blame as they were given every opportunity to prove themselves,” he added.

Guest speaker Bai Mass Saine advised the graduates to practice discipline to be able to succeed in life. “Be organized, set yourselves clear goals and focus on achieving them but do not succumb to peer pressure,” she said.

He encouraged students to practice frugality and patience, telling them not to reach out to finer things in life too soon as there is always time to enjoy what is theirs’.
