The
general public is hereby informed that the 22nd July Anniversary celebration
Marathon competition and Novelty Run scheduled to hold on 6 and 7 August 2016
respectively has been postponed to October 2016 due to unavoidable
circumstances, a press release from the Gambia Armed Forces stated.
The
release, sent yesterday to The Point, said new dates will be communicated in
due course. “We deeply regret any inconvenience caused,” the release added,
soliciting the cooperation and understanding of all.
