The finals of the Jollof Tutors sponsored football tournament featuring schools in Banjul will be played today at the Banjul Mini Stadium.

St Augustine's Senior Secondary School will met JC Faye Upper Basic in the male category. While the female category will be played between Garba Jahumpha Upper Basic and Crab Island Upper Basic.

According to Ebou Faye, Secretary General of the Banjul Sports Committee, the Jollof Tutors sponsored Banjul school finals for Senior Upper Basic Schools is geared towards the development of grassroots football in order to have a bottom top approach of football development, whereby kids will have a structured preparation.

A trophy and a set of jerseys will go to the winner while the runners up will received five balls.

The leading goal scorer and best player of the tournament will each go home with a trophy, a ball with a medal and body spray.

Meanwhile, the Banjul non-league competition is organised to give an opportunity to players who are considered surplus to requirements by the divisional clubs and don't have the chance of playing in the GFA League and nawetaans teams. Those that have the ambition to transform their teams to divisional teams are invited for a meeting on Monday, 7th April 08 at 5pm, Banjul Mini Stadium.

All teams' representatives are urged to attend as the rules and regulations for the tournament and balloting will be made during the meeting.
