Police Question IPC Staff over Alleged Fraud

The Fraud Squad unit of Kairaba Police Station has invited three staff of IPC Travel-Gambia Limited for questioning over an alleged air ticket scam at the travel agency.

Ousman Sowe, Lamin Mahmud and Millad Ramia were on Tuesday invited for questioning over the alleged fraud but were released on bail yesterday.

The trio are employees of IPC Travel, a travel agency located on

16 Kairaba Avenue
.

Our sources alleged that IPC Travel has been fraudulently selling a brand of air ticket bearing similar numbers to two people at the same time.

The amount involved, according to sources, is well over D300, 000.00. The suspected fourth accomplice regarded as the main suspect Mr Wassim Lebbos, a Lebanese national, is reported to have since absconded to Sierra Leone.
