Foundation and a US-based charity -Samaritan Purse- in alliance with other
non-governmental organisations, including SOS have supported 110 children
between the ages of 2-14 in Ebo Town.
Founder and president of De-link foundation Khadijatou Kamara said during her stay at MRC, she met with people from different backgrounds who were facing different challenges which prompted her to start the organisation and contribute to the development of the country.
She said social work have not gain prominence in Africa and not many people understand its importance. “We help vulnerable children by rehabilitating them back into the society.”Country coordinator of Samaritan Purse, Alex said their aim is to reach the less privileged children in The Gambia, saying “we are not a religion bias organisation. We help children without considering their religious believes.”
